about-me

Hello, I’m Patrick!

I hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Innsbruck, specializing in
perception, interaction, and robotics. In my thesis, I explored reinforcement learning, interactive path
planning and simulation techniques, successfully adapting these methods to real robotic systems.

As a student assistant, I helped to develop a mobile robotics platform that showcased ROS
algorithms and AI-based image recognition to students. Working with an NVIDIA Jetson Nano
taught me how to handle constrained hardware and use Docker to manage dependencies effectively.

In addition, through multiple participations in the RoboCup@Work competition, I further gained
valuable experience in designing complex algorithms and working with sophisticated hardware in
larger projects within an interdisciplinary team.
